Description : A sheer, balanced plain weave cotton fabric with a crispness to it. Organdy is prone to wrinkling.
Fabrication : As acid finish is what gives organdy its crisp quality. Organdy is made in a way very similar to organza, but is made from cotton rather than silk. Organdy is similar in fabrication to organza, but the latter is made of silk while organdy is made from cotton.
Subtypes : Organdy comes in three finished : stiff, semi-stiff and soft.
