Description : The term "glitter" applies to an assortment of very small pieces of paper, glass or plastic painted in metallic, neon and iridescent colors to reflect light in a sparkling range of colors. By extension, the term is now also applied to fabric which incorporates such small pieces. Glitter may be woven, knitted or pressed, and any fibre may serve as a substrate for incorporating glitter.
