Chintz

Description : Chintz is either a plain or satin weave cotton printed with flowers or other small motifs in a range of colors. Usually, the print consists of bright flowers on a light background.
Fabrication : The fabric is quite supple to the touch, a result of how the fabric is finished, sometimes through the use of silicon.
Subtypes : Toile de Jouy is a specialized type of chintz, characterized by motifs consisting of historical figures and landscapes printed in red or blue on a white background.
